Sh!t-faced Shakespeare: Macbeth reimagines Shakespeare’s tragedy as a riotous, unpredictable theatrical experience. Macbeth and Lady Macbeth pursue the Scottish throne amid murder, ambition, bloodlust and supernatural intrigue, while a tipsy performer and poorly poured beer add unruly comic twists. Presented at Pittsburgh’s Greer Cabaret Theater, the production combines classic drama with adult humor, audience interaction and the possibility of becoming part of the action.
