Trans-Siberian Orchestra
Trans-Siberian Orchestra is a symphonic rock ensemble formed in 1996 by composer and producer Paul O’Neill, known for combining heavy-metal intensity, classical arrangements and theatrical holiday storytelling. The group’s debut album, Christmas Eve and Other Stories , introduced its signature recording “Christmas Eve/Sarajevo 12/24” and launched a Christmas trilogy that also includes The Christmas Attic and The Lost Christmas Eve . Other recognizable works include “Christmas Canon,” “Wizards in Winter” and “Mad Russian’s Christmas.” TSO’s concert productions are associated with narrative staging, orchestral textures and large-scale lighting and visual effects.
