VALE is a Louisville, Kentucky-based rock and psychedelic band led by singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Wade Stills. Originally conceived as a solo recording project, the group developed through several lineups before becoming a three-piece featuring Sam Maxwell on drums and John Roark on bass. Their music blends rock ’n’ roll drive with psychedelic textures, creating an energetic, guitar-forward sound for live audiences. VALE has performed at regional festivals and opened for acclaimed acts including Albert Hammond Jr. and Post Animal, offering concertgoers a chance to experience an emerging band with a distinctive modern take on psychedelic rock.
