VNV Nation is the alternative electronic project led by Dublin-born, Hamburg-based singer, songwriter and producer Ronan Harris. The project is recognized for combining melodic dance beats, indie-electronic anthems, haunting ballads and post-classical textures with thoughtful lyrics. Notable releases include Empires (1999), Noire (2018) and Electric Sun (2023), the latter two reaching No. 4 on the German album chart. VNV Nation’s 2025 album Construct reached No. 3 overall and No. 1 on Germany’s pop-album chart.
